Tickets gone for Orlando City Stadium opener

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Single-game tickets have been sold out for Orlando City SCís season-opening match against New York City FC at the new, 25,500-capacity, Orlando City Stadium, scheduled at 5 p.m. Sunday, March 5, the team announced Tuesday.

Orlando City also has sold out single-game tickets for the fourth home match, against the LA Galaxy at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 15. Tickets for the Galaxy match can be purchased via a five-game flex pack.

The Lions will play 17 home games at the stadium, which features a natural grass playing surface, four-sided canopy roof and a safe-standing supportersí section, a first for a North American venue.
